As many of you know we took the leap of exhibiting at the Packaging and Innovations Show this year, which proved to be a great decision for us. The show was a huge success, it had a record breaking attendance of 6004 visitors over the two days, and we were absolutely rushed off our feet with the amount of new and existing customers wanting to experience our digital innovations.

The exhibition gave us the opportunity to showcase our offerings to a very wide audience who were very receptive to digital, even if they had never considered it before. We spoke to hundreds of people from all kinds of organisations – from large multinational pharmaceutical companies through to artisan food producers. All of these companies can utilise digital successfully within their packaging strategies and we were delighted to be able to share that with them.

We also launched our Augmented Reality solution, which turned out be a major talking point with the media. Customers had a great time installing the app on their phones, scanning the graphics on the labels and then transporting themselves into an interactive world on their mobile device. Nathan also delivered a very successful presentation on Peel and Reveal Labels to a packed house, including top industry figures from major FMCG and retail companies. He also spoke again to Bill Bruce from Food & Beverage International about Color Logic, a revolutionary solution that enables you to print incredible effects on to a metallic looking substrate without the need for foil blocking. The solution is extremely popular with our clients and was one of the key elements that helped us scoop the coveted ‘Digital Printer of the Year’ at the 2013 Flexotech Awards. He also discusses variable data, and the ease of digital technology when it comes to really taking your brand to the next level.
