Depending on the volume ordered and label complexity, we aim to deliver your label in 8 working days (from artwork approval).

Whilst there’s no minimum order quantity, we  do have a minimum order value of £150 (plus vat).

Our carriage costs £14.20 for shipments (to mainland UK) under 20kg
Shipments over 20kg, internationally or pallets are costed at the time of dispatch.

Yes, speak to our team and we’ll arrange a suitable time for you to collect your order from us.

All of our orders are dispatched in plain packaging .  If you have a specific request, please give one of our team a call to discuss your requirements.

Flexo uses plates and ink.  It’s suited to very high volumes of the same design and can be inferior in quality.  There’s no capability for variable print either.  Digital print is perfect for jobs of all sizes, can run multiple sorts in a single run, is cost effective with less waste and much more sustainable.  Rad about how digital print is better for the environment here

Our digital presses can emulate pantone colours from CMYK.  We have an extensive colour gamut and, in most cases, achieve the required colours.  High street retailers, blue-chip companies and brand owners trust us to deliver to specification regularly.

We print to demand, but hold volumes on raw materials on site ready to be converted into labels.

Yes, we have various materials, finishes and varnishes available to create labels fit for any purpose.

Yes!  The majority of our labels can be overprinted using a thermal transfer printer.  We do recommend using a wax/resin ribbon.  Speak to one of our team about your artwork and we can best advise on the best solution to support overprinting.

We have an in-house studio with an automated proofing system to check and distribute artwork proofs for our customers.  Read more about our studio services HERE.

Depending on the complexity of the label we can produce what’s called an ‘uncut press proof’. This would be your design printed onto the required material along with the finish needed. The press proofs are supplied on a master roll and are uncut.   Due to material usage and machine time we do charge for press proofs so please get in touch for a quote.

We aren’t able to produce press proofs for peel and reveal labels, Foiled, tactile or spot varnish labels due to the origination needed however we can discuss options available and maybe a smaller trial run if this is a necessity.

If your labels have variable data we ask for you to send all the data in an excel document. The data should be all in one column (unless there a multiple areas of variable data on the labels) with no spaces or additional information. Each cell should only include one piece of data.

Digital label printing is high quality and more cost effective due to there being no origination costs for print. This means that you can just print what you need and combine multiple designs and sorts into single runs making it not only more cost effective, but it’s much more sustainable way to manufacture labels too!

Here at CS Labels we have no minimum quantity you need to order, however our minimum order value is £150 (ex VAT).

This is how the label feeds off of the roll.  If you are having your labels machine applied then this is an important factor to consider.  You will most likely need labels printing narrow edge, which means the label, will come off of the roll with the longest part being the width.  If you are unsure you can ask our advice of which will suit your needs best.
