Here is a flavour of what we’ve entered...

Northern Monk BrewCo

Our friends at Northern Monk are no strangers to awards – we’ve won several in collaboration with them over the past few years. This year we have printed two labels that are nothing short of outstanding. Firstly the ‘Trilogy’ range, which celebrates the three pillars of beer (Hops, Malt, Yeast) in their purest form. This then extends over to the label; the idea was to create a subtle looking label that oozed quality. Complimenting the gold, we printed on a silver substrate and hot foiled a gloss clear foil to create the perfect effect.

Secondly the Northern Monk ‘Patrons Project’ that took the label (and brewing) industry by storm when it kicked off in 2016 is still in full swing. This year a label we printed for a beer called Obelisk for Northern Monk was a collaboration between themselves and the Hyde Park Brass Band, who, like the Monks, are local to Leeds.  They wanted to achieve a striking look with different dimensions/colours when holding the can. We optimised the artwork to make the most of digital printing and worked our magic to give the label a dirty/dark look but when the light shines it lifts it to be bright and clean. Bravo!
